Q- Tell something about yourself

Rohan Kompella, a student studying at Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha University, is a writer, best known for his book “PLENTY THOUGHTS FROM AN EMPTY BRAIN”, in which he chronicles the ideas that had come to him as he was observing and learning about many things in the environment he has grown up, from books and from films he watch. 

Q- Brief about your books.

My books are a compilation of my ideas.

“Plenty thoughts from an Empty brain” is my first book which does contain my thoughts from my study, observation of things that do go around me, from books and from films I study and it does continue with my remaining books, which are, 

“Eyelens”, a view of my eyes about the term Cinema,

“Beauty in the Midst of Ugliness”, a poetical work, 

“War between stones and Sticks”, a book about my understanding on clash and creation of thoughts, mindsets and individuals. 

“Wh….”, a book built with “WH..” questions and few more works.  

Q- Write in brief about your journey so far. 

Ans. Regardless of the artwork, every time I read a book or see a movie of a different genre, I expose myself to that work and my awareness towards it get enhanced.

 Once during the time of lockdown at a time of 2am in the morning while of thinking of some random thing, an idea took a strike inside my brain along with the lightening thunder outside the window of writing a book and developing that idea resulted in developing a product called “Book”

Q- Where do you get your ideas?

Q- Give 2 line advice for aspiring writers.

Ans. An outstanding book may be written by anybody, even those with little prior experience or technical skills.

Q- What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?

Ans. I never actually had any author as my friend, it was just my thought and my decision helped me in developing a book. 

Q- How many hours a day do you write?

Ans. It depends on my initial thoughts on the chapter or concept that I create. I once spent four hours writing around 3 chapters. 

Q. A brief description of the book “War between Stones and Sticks”.

Ans. From the first ever big bang to this second ticking, there’s always an existence of 2 faces basically termed as GOOD and BAD, Positive and Negative, God and Evil and etc terms are created with comfort of consideration. So, the clash of these is something I preferred as a subject to develop a matter and concept of BOOK.

Q. Why is the chapter Love and Relationships left empty with a line of “There’s nothing here”?

Ans. I essentially think that each idea, phrase, sentence, or even paragraph created and published by an author based on the variety of experiences and situations he experienced with growing and maturing, but I’ve never had the chance to interact with that term in this context.
