Interview with Talented Author Saurabh Pant

Q- Tell something about yourself.

An author is easily described by his or her words and for me, it is simply: seeing things beyond vision.

I can be called talent of my own league, recognised on kindle, kobo, Ibooks and a lot more to stand with a bright journey in front of me with such efforts.

Q- Brief about your books.

Usually, there are a lot of books. I have been part of digital works, GK series, poetry collections, research articles, memoirs, stories,  quote books and much more.

But all you should be able to find is that I believe in attaching signs, to use them in my works and whatever genre I have worked in covering almost over 100 works, they all speak the way effort is put in to create the best creation possible.

Q- Write in brief about your journey so far.

Despite losing my vision, I grew up in an environment of great competition from a very early. I  learnt skills in a special school in Dehradun, became a part of inclusion that was also growing and who knew that one day I might reach a much better height with such confidence.

The growth was slow, everyone kept challenging but from typing in braille slates to learning screen reader software and finally taking applause for the late run my school to college growth covered a lot of hopes to flourish.

Issues came back again, from facing dengue to falling down in the last year of college added more to these damages that might have made me weak but it was again a learning curve.

I  went home, became part of the Indian VI quiz team and led to success in Scotland which was not recognised truly, but my role with English writers started to bloom and the world finally noticed me as a writer in 2016.

It has come a long way, from being just a common writer to a complete author, with awards from various parts of the world and finally being honoured Tagore commemorative in 2022 by Lit fest from ne8x, it’s a journey worth sharing to all…

Q-  How do different publishers and their presence make your growth more visible?

I think their strategies count more than anything, Asian publishers believe in stretching public influences, IN Europe it is more about adapting the local lead and in the Pacific, I came to know the techniques to convince the reader base for a better position,  so the way they appeal and consume public out to make an author’s work counties prolific and this is why it gives you an avid space to stand in a different limelight.

Q- Write 2 line of advice for aspiring writers.

“Be hungry, make your work count, and don’t stop if you don’t succeed.” Doors only get open if you knock the nails out and to be the best, you have to go through the process which matters the most.

Q-  What makes the difference to bring you this far from where you stand today?

My goal was very clear from the start, I wanted to make a price tag, to stand with better vision and I might not have got where I wanted to but there is a lot to cover, I have to cross more borders and a lot more to come, but for now it is a perfect highway of literary lights for me.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for this questionnaire, hopefully, I answered well, for now, it’s cheers from charlie…
