“The President of India Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Nagpur on a day’s visit”. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, and Industry Minister Subhas Desai welcomed him. The President inaugurated the new campus of IIM Nagpur. However, due to the sudden arrival of the president on a day visit, Governor Koshyari plans to extend his tour visit for 3 more days resolving irregularities.
Governor Koshyari had arrived on the tour of Satara district ‘Bhilar’ 2 days prior. Collector Shekhar Singh had welcomed the Governor at Mahabaleshwar. The Governor also inaugurated the Giri Chintan bungalow the recently renovated guest house at Mahabaleshwar. Governor also visited the historic fort Pratapgarh in Satara district of Maharastra. His visit included Shri Bhavani Mandir where he offered his respects at the memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In his tour the Governor also visited the Bel Air Rural Hospital , Indain Red Cross Society at Mahabaleshwar . In this occasion Charirman Jaisinh Mariwala, Dr Panditraao Deshmukh and others were present to welcome the Governor. He visited these places with a motive to know more about the medical facilities of hospitals around. In his visit he met the patients to know about the treatment facilities provided. His tour visits also include visit to Sunrise Candles and Wax Museum.
“Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari” has visited many places but he wants everyone to know about Bhilar . Bhilar which is very well known to have good books for everyone from children to the elderly to read. Governor Koshyari visited the place with collector in charge Madhavi Sardeshmuk, Deputy Collector Sangita Chowgule, Tehsildar Sushma Patil and the villagers of bhilar were present on this occasion.
Governor Koshyari said “Bilar is an ideal village and I am very happy to be here.” In this village our Governor Koshyari found a book which is based on the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Gadkille which is from Shiva period and this book is also kept at Prashant Bhilare’s residence Mangaltra.
His tour continues and plans to extend by 3 more days visitng places and resolving irregularities.
