Physio Connect 2 Conference sets new Era in Physiotherapy world

Physio connect 2 National Conference on Physiotherapy with the theme of A new era in Physiotherapy to Develops coordination between the physiotherapist and spreading knowledge was organized at Asian Hospital, Faridabad, in which Chief Guest Union Minister for Power and Heavy Industries Shri Krishna Pal Gurjar, Special Guest IPS Officer Deputy Commissioner of Police Shri Virender Vij, International Boxing Champion Olympian, Arjuna Awardee  Shri Akhil Kumar, Para F Commando Instructor Shri Ram Krishna, IMA Haryana President Dr. Punita Hasija, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Deep was invited, The Patron of the conference Dr NK Pandey CMD Asian hospitals greeted everyone and Describing Physiotherapist doctors as an integral part of the Medical field and Society, he addressed all the participants and congratulated everyone for the commendable work done in the era of Corona, he told that physiotherapy is an important need of today’s time.  It helps in keeping everyone healthy, from children to the elderly, Dr. Pandey said a physiotherapist in hospital ICU almost saves 50 thousand rupees of sick patients and helping them to get discharge early. 

Speaker Dr. Mukesh Pandey Neuro surgeon said 95 percent of spinal and trunk issues can be treated by Physiotherapy and only 5 percent patients actually need a surgical intervention.  

Speaker Mrinal Sharma said the Physiotherapist are the pillar of the human joints that every orthopaedics surgery need help of Physiotherapy to get early mobile in activities of daily living. 

Boxer Shri Akhil Kumar while narrating his sports experience said that without physiotherapy the player cannot achieve his goal easily, players have to face a lot of injuries and physiotherapist only makes them fit to play again and prepared them for medals to the player.  In which strength conditioning and manual therapy are very effective.

The conference was organized by Chairman Dr. Sarvotam Chauhan, Co-Chairman Dr. Saurav Tyagi, Secretary Dr. Bharat Bharadwaj and Dr. Kanika Markan and Co-Secretary Dr. Sandeep Chauhan, Dr. Devender Rathi Dr. Dheerja Babbar.

 Dr. Sarvotam Chauhan told that Physio connect 1 was organized in 2019 but could not continue every year due to corona pandemic but now in 2022 it is the first such conference in North India in which Senior Orthopaedics Surgeon, Senior Neuro Surgeon, Senior Neurologist  , Physicians and Surgeons and Physiotherapist speakers from India and abroad have shared their experience, and in which new techniques in physiotherapy like Migraine, Growing Back Pain, Dry Needling, Nervous Reboot, Joint Replacement, Stroke were explained on important topics.  .  The highlight of the conference was the presentation of research papers and performance on self-defence in which live NSG commandos participated.

The unique part of this conference was that it has motivated new upcoming physiotherapists to share their knowledge in such superb way that each and every Physiotherapist can Connect with it. 

 In the conference, the doctors who have done commendable work in the field of physiotherapy were honoured with the award including students of the year and Physio Iconic , Best clinical academician so that everyone can get an inspiration in the coming times and they can do social service.

 Physiotherapy students and faculty from about 15 universities also participated in the conference. 

At the closing of the conference Dr Sarvotam Chauhan and his team announced upcoming Physio Connect 3 conference in next year May with more than 500 participants capacity.
