Rath has also been the empanelled director for UNICEF, doordarshan and BPFTIO – Odisha for numerous government projects. His film NO TOBACCO, which is a film based on cancer has won 10 awards, and his other films : RHYTHM OF LIFE on child malnutrition with legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has won three awards, NEW HORIZON on leprosy has also won a couple awards. CHILD FRIENDLY POLICE SYSTEM was a film for UNICEF on child rights and BLUE MOUNTAINS, a feature film in which Rath worked as a DOP won best international children film in 2015 organised by CSFI. However, the one which seems to have caught the attention of the jury members of INDIA’S WORLD RECORDS [website : www.indiasworldrecords.co.in ] is called FOR ME FOR THE WORLD and is based on girl child adoption and women’s education, pertaining to a campaign launched by the Indian government known as BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO and has been awarded 125 awards worldwide. India’s World Records has registered Rath’s name under the film making category. Chandrasekhar Rath has won numerous global honours in film festivals for all his movies and has been involved in 7 feature films as DOP, 200+ ads as cinematographer, 50+ ads as director and 20+ documentary and corporate av as director and DOP.
