Dongyue Group India and Mohan Industries, Onda, Bankura, WB Join Hands for Next-Generation Green Building Materials Technology in Eastern India

Strategic Technology Transfer to Revolutionize Eco-Friendly Construction Materials

Dongyue Group India and Mohan Industries, Onda, Bankura, West Bengal, have entered into a strategic technology transfer partnership for the manufacturing of eco-friendly fly ash bricks, paver blocks, and advanced energy-efficient green concrete blocks conforming to GRIHA and Green Building norms.

The collaboration marks a major technological advancement in the Eastern Indian construction materials sector, particularly in the field of sustainable masonry products and high-performance concrete block manufacturing. The project combines Dongyue Group’s globally recognized German-engineered block making technology with advanced servo-controlled vibration systems aimed at delivering stronger, greener, and more energy-efficient construction materials.

Growing Demand for Sustainable Construction Materials

With India rapidly moving toward sustainable infrastructure development, the demand for environmentally responsible building materials has increased significantly. Fly ash bricks and paver blocks are already widely recognized as eco-friendly alternatives to traditional clay bricks because they utilize industrial by-products such as fly ash, reduce topsoil depletion, and consume lower energy during manufacturing.

However, according to industry experts, the true sustainability of a green product does not depend only on the raw material used but also on the efficiency of the manufacturing process itself.

This is where the Dongyue servo-vibration technology introduces a transformational shift.

Evolution of Vibration Technology in Block Making Machinery

Explaining the technological journey of vibration systems in concrete block manufacturing, Dr. Nandiki Gangadhar Reddy, CEO of Dongyue India, elaborated on how the industry has evolved over the years through multiple generations of vibration engineering.

Generation 1 – Basic Vibrator Motor Technology

The earliest “vibro” block machines simply attached conventional vibrator motors directly onto machine tables. While this produced vibration, energy transfer efficiency was limited, resulting in inconsistent compaction and higher energy losses.

Generation 2 – Suspended Table Integrated Vibration

The second generation introduced vibration systems integrated into suspended tables, improving force distribution and enhancing compaction consistency.

Generation 3 – Variable Integrated Vibration

The third generation improved the system further by introducing variable vibration control, allowing operators to adjust vibration intensity depending on the product type and raw material composition.

Generation 4 – Gear Coupled Synchronized Vibration

Fourth-generation technology introduced synchronized gear coupling systems. These systems cancelled undesirable sidewise vibration while amplifying vertical vibration forces, significantly improving compaction efficiency and product density.

Generation 5 – Servo Controlled Intelligent Vibration System

Dongyue’s latest Generation-5 technology replaces conventional gear mechanisms completely with high-precision servo motor systems controlled digitally through PLC automation.

According to Dr. Reddy:

“We are now in Gen-5 technology where servo motors are employed and no gears are present. These servo motors take digital PLC signals and create highly controlled variable-frequency impact vibration while simultaneously cancelling sidewise vibration and amplifying vertical vibration. This ensures maximum compaction energy is transferred directly into the bricks and blocks.”

He further explained that the advanced servo-vibration system offers several critical advantages:

* Higher product density and strength
* Lower cement consumption
* Reduced rejection rates
* Lower power consumption
* Faster production cycles
* Significantly reduced operational noise
* Lower mechanical wear and maintenance
* Greater process reliability
* Improved dimensional accuracy
* Better finish quality

“The final outcome is greener and stronger bricks at lower cost and higher productivity,” Dr. Reddy added.

Smart Manufacturing Meets Green Construction

The Dist of Bankura, WB,  project is designed not merely as a conventional fly ash brick plant but as a smart automated green manufacturing facility capable of producing multiple construction products on a single high-end production line.

The installation includes Dongyue’s advanced triple-action multi-product block making system utilizing German engineering principles integrated with intelligent servo vibration technology.

The system is capable of manufacturing:

* Fly ash bricks
* Concrete solid blocks
* Hollow blocks
* Interlocking paver blocks
* Kerb stones
* Energy-efficient green blocks

The project aligns closely with India’s growing focus on:

* Green Building norms
* Sustainable urbanization
* Waste utilization
* Carbon footprint reduction
* Circular economy manufacturing

MOHAN INDUSTRIES Chooses “Best or Nothing”

At the Bankura, an installation site in West Bengal, Mrs. Anju Patra, a successful entrepreneurs and Proprietor of MOHAN INDUSTIES, in the District Bankura, WB, emphasized the importance of technology selection in today’s highly quality-conscious market.

Speaking during the installation process, she stated:

“We have been in this industry for the last decade and know that the market has become extremely quality conscious. We tried many technologies in the past, but this time we did extensive homework. We studied working plants of different suppliers and finally decided that we will go for the best or nothing. I am glad that we are into it now.”

Industry observers note that this statement reflects the changing dynamics of India’s construction materials sector, where buyers are increasingly prioritizing:

* Product quality consistency
* Automation reliability
* Energy efficiency
* Long-term operating cost
* Sustainable manufacturing standards

over merely low initial machine cost.

A Major Step Forward for Eastern India

The strategic partnership between Dongyue India and Mohan Industries, Bankura, West Bengal is expected to become a benchmark project for advanced green building materials manufacturing in Eastern India.

The plant is expected to cater to the rapidly growing infrastructure and housing demand across:

* West Bengal
* Jharkhand
* Odisha
* Bihar
* Northeast India

Experts believe that adoption of intelligent servo-vibration block making systems may significantly improve the overall quality standards of fly ash brick manufacturing in India while also supporting the national mission for sustainable construction and industrial waste utilization.

As India accelerates toward greener infrastructure development, projects like this represent the future of high-efficiency, low-carbon, digitally automated construction material manufacturing.????‍????
