The IASTEM International Conference, hosted at Hearton Hotel Kita Umeda, Osaka, concluded on a high note, bringing together global experts, scholars, and thought leaders for a day of impactful discussions on multidisciplinary research and innovation.
Organized by IASTEM in association with four reputed academic partners—ICLED Business School (Nigeria), Ubon Ratchathani University (Thailand), Let’s Learn Africa (Lagos), and MountMove (UK)—the conference served as a platform for vibrant knowledge exchange across diverse academic and professional domains.
The event commenced at 9:30 AM with a formal inauguration, followed by a powerful keynote speech by Mr. Thiti Raseekul, Lecturer, Faculty of Management Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand. His session titled “Bridging the Gap, Creating Opportunities: Applying Pro-Poor Value Chains to Address Poverty in Thailand” set the tone for the conference’s central themes of inclusion, innovation, and sustainability.
The conference was chaired by Dr. Thumwimon Suksersm, who also presented a joint paper on financial technology’s impact on employee efficiency in Thailand’s banking sector. The event featured expert lectures and virtual keynote presentations from international scholars, including:

- Prof. Olajumoke Familoni (Nigeria) on “Disruptive Innovation”

The conference also highlighted outstanding research contributions through its Excellent Paper Awards, presented to:
- Bussakorn Khumhome for her research on career adaptability in Thailand's hotel industry.
- Anirut Suebsing who was also the conference co chair for his study on Generative AI in SMEs.
- Nantaphong Boonpong for his analytical work on ESG factors and securities risk.
A diverse range of topics was explored in technical sessions, including value chain development, fintech, ESG integration, AI adaptation, cultural entrepreneurship, and employee loyalty. The conference welcomed academic participants from countries including India, France, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Azerbaijan.
