Meet Hamdan - the aspiring model from Hyderabad making waves.

New Delhi August 06, 2025: At just 20 years old, Hamdan stepped into the dazzling world of fashion, driven by a dream and inspired by Indian models making waves on international runways. “Watching Indian models represent our culture on global stages sparked something in me. Their vision, work ethic, and representation ignited my passion for fashion,” he shares.

Hamdan’s big break came when he debuted at designer Kingshuk Bhaduri’s much-anticipated 2025 couture show in Delhi. The showcase, a glamorous cocktail couture collection featuring around 30 striking ensembles, drew fashion industry heavyweights and top Indian models. National art and culture icon Ishaan Bhalla closed the show as the muse and showstopper, adding further prestige to the event. For Hamdan, being part of such a significant show was a milestone. “Representing Hyderabad on a national runway was surreal. It wasn’t just about walking in designer clothes—it was about carrying the culture, energy, and pride of my city onto the stage.”

One of his most cherished memories came just moments before stepping onto the runway for Kingshuk’s show. “Backstage was buzzing with energy, but I managed to squeeze in a short video call with my family and closest friends. Seeing their excitement gave me a boost of confidence and made the entire experience unforgettable,” recalls the now 21-year-old.

Despite the glamour, Hamdan is candid about the challenges he’s faced. “Coming from a smaller city like Hyderabad, the modelling scene isn’t as established as in Mumbai or Delhi. There are fewer opportunities, and breaking into the mainstream can feel daunting. But every challenge has only motivated me more,” he says. With his career beginning to gain momentum, Hamdan dreams of walking for global fashion houses like Dior and Prada. “Dior’s timeless elegance and Prada’s boundary-pushing creativity represent the kind of brands I aspire to work with,” he says. Yet, Hamdan remains humble. “I don’t feel like I’ve ‘made it’ yet. The fashion industry constantly evolves and challenges you. Each opportunity is a step forward, and I believe there’s always room for growth.”

Beyond the runway, Hamdan leads a dual life—as a college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science. “Education has always been important to me. Modelling hasn’t changed that,” he says. “I’ve been consistent with my fitness since before modelling began, and I still balance my academics and personal interests with my career.” Hamdan's discipline and commitment reflect his holistic approach to success—one that blends passion with purpose. “Staying grounded, improving my craft, and embracing learning both on and off the runway is what I aim for,” he adds.

As the year winds down, Hamdan is filled with gratitude. “This year has been transformative. I discovered a path that aligns with my passion and gives me purpose. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, growth, and incredible mentorship,” he says with a smile. With talent, humility, and determination, Hamdan is not just a name to watch—he’s a story in the making.
